This artist started officially marking the streets in 2001. With an interest in bike paths and streets in general, Roadsworth used stencils to embellish and change street markings into works of art. Arrested four years later, he was released thanks to the public's support,and on the condition that all his work be commissioned. Roadsworth may have lost his anonymity but now he gets payed to do what he used to do illegally. Sounds like a winning situation to me.
A documentary was created in 2008 about him called Roadsworth: Crossing the line.
